We have added a Young Engineers in ASHRAE page to our website. You can access it via Programs -> YEA. This page will make available periodic notices by the chair of the YEA committee.

We have switched from the PayPal Sand Box to PayPal Live! You now ought to be able to pay your company's ad in the Member Roster & Company Directory via PayPal, either using a Credit Card or your PayPal account. The new fee for the ad is $50.00. You will be reminded of the need to pay when you log into your company's account on the Alamo ASHRAE website. A green "Buy Ad" button indicates your ad is about to expire, a red "Buy Ad" button indicates your ad has expired. No need to pay until the red button appears. Renewals are effective for 1 year from the day you (re-)buy the ad.

The online roster & directory has been improved in response to some feedback from participating companies. Once you log in as a company, you will now see a link to FAQ. Read these to better familiarize yourself with the project. In addition, you can now sort the offices, representatives and manufacturers so that they appear in the desired order in your ad. Also, if your description runs into your logo, simply break up your description into multiple shorter lines using the RETURN key.

The Trinity University Department of Engineering Science is sponsoring the San Antonio Geothermal Symposium at their Chapman Center Auditorium on Saturday, September 19, 2009. The subjects covered will be geothermal power as well as geothermal HVAC. Attending Professional Engineers will receive a Certificate of Participation at the end of the symposium, awarding 4 PDHs towards Professional Engineer license renewal as administered by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
